Mr. Harlan Ray Harris, age 54, of Franklin, KY., died Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 10:11 P.M. at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY.
A native of Sumner Co., TN. he was the son of the late Earnest Ray Harris and the late Jewel Hollis Harris Utley.
He is survived by his wife Delores Harris of Franklin, KY.; a daughter Michelle Dawn Harris Hanshoe of Bethpage, TN., a step-son John Leslie Ganslein of Newark, OH; a sister Liz Burris and husband Tom of Franklin, KY. ; 2 Nieces: Amy Burris and Tammy Russell and husband Stewart all of Franklin, KY.; 2 Great Nephews J.T. Burris and John David Russell and a special person whom he loved as a daughter Sarah Ewin of Cottontown, TN.
Mr. Harris was a Baptist and a self-employed plumber. He was a member of the American Legion Post #62 having served in the National Guard.
