Goldie Mae Freeman

Mrs. Goldie Mae Freeman, age 90, of Franklin, KY, passed away Monday, March 30, 2020 at 1:08 AM at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home. Graveside service will be private, a memorial service may be held at a later date.

Goldie was born March 25, 1930 in Simpson Co., KY to the late John May and the late Kenlis Summers May.  She was the wife of the late Porter Duel Freeman.  She was also preceded in death by a son, Porter Glenn Freeman and 5 brothers, Robert, Howard, Vernon, Wesley, James Buford May.

She is survived by her children, Joe Freeman (Kathy) of Franklin, KY, Larry Freeman (Patty) of Franklin, KY, Andy Freeman (Ona Lea) of Franklin, KY, Mark Freeman (Barbara) of Franklin, KY, Randy Freeman (Stacy) of New York, Skip Freeman (Sonya) of Franklin, KY, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and a sister, Ruth Bayles of Franklin, KY.

Goldie was a member of the Franklin Church of Christ and was a homemaker.
