Mrs. Glenda Thrasher Rhea, age 70 of Franklin, KY. entered into rest Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 5:04 P.M. at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY.
A native of Simpson Co., KY., she was the daughter of the late Lawrence McCreary and the late Karine Dodson McCreary. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl A. Thrasher.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa Thrasher Bowen (Hunter), granddaughter Kaycie Bowen, a brother Larry McCreary, one niece and one nephew all of Franklin, KY.
Mrs. Rhea was a retired school teacher of the Simpson County school system of 27 years, a member of the First Baptist Church, member of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) and a member of the Simpson County Retired Teachers's Association.
