Mrs. Glenda Freas Madison, age 72 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 9:25 A. M. at her residence.
A native of Simpson Co., KY., she was the daughter of Minnie Bess Freas of Franklin, KY. who survives and the late Tom Freas. She was preceded in death by a son Thomas "Bubby" Barger and a sister Nancy Freas Neal.
She is survived by her husband Jerry Madison of Franklin, KY. and a daughter Cheri Natcher and husband Joe of Bowling Green, KY. Children by marriage:
Teresa Perkins and husband Richard, Dewayne Madison and wife Joanie and Chris Madison and wife Jeannie all of Franklin, KY.; Elaine Moulder and husband Thomas of Bowling Green, KY. and Melissa Shirey and husband Terry of Nashville, TN. Grandchildren: Nan Thomas Natcher, Houston Natcher, Eric Perkins and wife Jamie, Travis Perkins, Brett Perkins and wife Kirby, Zack Madison and wife Caitlin, Trevor Madison, Josh Madison, Maggie Jane Madison, Tyler Madison, Madison Shirey and Morgan Shirey. Great-grandchild Luke Perkins. A brother Larry T. Freas and wife Debbie of Franklin, KY.; two nieces Nanette Key of Bethpage, TN. and Vonda Vaught of Greenville, KY.; two nephews Jeff Neal of Louisville, KY. and Brian Freas of Franklin, KY.
Mrs. Madison was the manager of ABM Dry Cleaners. She was a 1957 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School and drum major of the FSHS Band. She was a former Executive Director of the Franklin Housing Authority and a member of the Franklin BPW. She was an avid drag racing fan.
