Glenda Joy Barger

Mrs. Glenda Joy Barger, age 69 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Monday, September 5, 2016 at 11:15 AM at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Restlawn Memory Gardens in Simpson Co., KY.

She was born June 4, 1947 in Simpson Co., KY. to the late Forrest Moseley and the late Lucille Wheat Moseley.  She was the wife of the late Gary Groves and the late Robert Barger.  She is preceded in death by a son Bubby Barger and a brother Ronnie Moseley.

She is survived by her children Amy Rowlett (Brandon) of Wilmington, NC. and Cheri Natcher (Joe) of Bowling Green, KY., grandchildren Nan Thomas Natcher and Houston Natcher and her companion Jackie Gann of Franklin, Ky.

Mrs. Barger was a member of the Franklin First United Methodist Church.

She was a homemaker and a waitress at the Tanglewood Restaurant.  She was the class treasurer for the Franklin-Simpson Class of 1965.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 7, 2016 and from 6:00 AM until 10:00 AM Thursday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home. The body will lie in state at the church from 11:00 AM until service time Thursday.
