Gladys L. (Gorham) Johns

Mrs. Gladys L. Gorham Johns, age 80 of Franklin, KY, entered into rest Monday, August 6, 2018, at 5:32 PM at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 11, 2018 with burial to follow in Hillsdale Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

Mrs. Johns was born June 5, 1938 in Simpson Co, KY to the late Beauchamp F. Gorham and Effie L. Finn. Her three brothers, Herbert Gorham, Carlos Gorham, and Thomas C. (Frosty) Gorham preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Lawrence Johns of Franklin, KY, her children, daughter Kathy Lea White Brogli and her husband Herbert of Somerset, KY, son Michael Ray White and his wife Bonnie of Franklin, KY, daughter Nelda Lee Johns Towe and her husband Terry of Franklin, KY, daughter Gina Johns Hendricks and husband Danny of Franklin, KY, 7 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Johns was a member of the Macedonia General Baptist Church. She was a retired head teller of Simpson County Bank.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 10, 2018 and from 6:00 AM until time of service at Gilbert Funeral Home.
