Georgia Mae McLemore

Ms. Georgia Mae McLemore, age 61, of Russellville, KY, made her final transition on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the University of Louisville/Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 9th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the United Penecostal Church, 316 East 9th Street in Russellville, KY.

She was born on May 20, 1963, in Logan County, KY, to the late Jesse Windell "JW" McLemore and Mary Elizabeth (Yates) McLemore.

Georgia lived her life the best she knew. She was a hard worker and a firecracker! She was a caring soul to the ones she loved. Even at the end, she found a way to smile and laugh. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering.

She was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother, brother and a great-nephew.

She is survived by her best friend, Denise Abney of Franklin, KY; brother, David McLemore of Russellville, KY; sister, Brenda Winn of Lewisburg, KY; four nieces, Tina Miller (Steve) of Russellville, KY, Tiffany Hardesty (Michael) of Russellville, KY, Brianna Winn of Lexington, KY and Cassie Wilson of Russellville, KY; two great-nephews, Liam Hardesty and Nolin Hardesty; and many others friends and family.
