Georgeanna Redfern

Mrs. Georgeanna Redfern, age 86, of Bowling Green, KY passed away November 10th, 2020 at 8:30 PM at Signature Healthcare of Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home, Franklin, KY. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 14th, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Greenlawn Cemetery.

Georgeanna was born February 22nd, 1934 in Franklin, KY to the late Herbert Harris and the late Donie Carver Harris.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Lovell Redfern and a  son, James Lovell Redfern.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Donna Wheet of Bowling Green, KY and Judith Pitman of Bowling Green, KY; 5 grandchildren, James Matthew Finn, Sr., Regina Faye Meredith, David DeWayne Finn, Sr., Brent Allen Redfern, and Kathy Jean Redfern; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Bilbrey; 2 nieces, Sandra Barnett and Lisa Jones.

Georgeanna was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.  She worked as a caregiver for the elderly.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy are to be made to Gilbert Funeral Home, 325 West Cedar Street, Franklin, KY. 42134 to help with Mrs. Redfern’s final expenses.
