George William Stewart

Mr. George William (Buddy) Stewart, age 69 of Franklin, KY passed away on Friday, July 7th, 2023 at his residence in Franklin, KY.

Cremation was chosen. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 11th from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. There will be a Celebration of Life Service to follow visitation at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

George was born on May 17, 1954 in Milford, Delaware to the late Leslie Stewart and the late Anne (Bradford) Stewart. He is also preceded in death by a niece.

He is survived by 1 daughter, Nikki Stewart of Franklin, KY; 1 brother, Jimmy Stewart (Sandra) of Taylorsville, KY; 1 Sister, Mary Ann Brown of Franklin, KY; 2 grandchildren, Addison Molinar (Marco) of Japan and Aaliyah Stewart (Daniel) of Clarkston, KY; and several nieces.

George was a 1973 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School.  He enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoes, watching western shows and loved his grandkids.
