Mr. Gene Autry Hudson, age 78 of Portland, TN., entered into rest Friday, April 26, 2013 at 3:05 A.M. at the Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN.
A native of Macon Co., TN., he was the son of the late Ernest Estes Hudson and the late Ollie Mae Wright Hudson.
He is survived by his wife Joyce Hudson of Portland, TN.; a daughter Hattie Hines (Larry) of Franklin, KY., 3 sons: Kenneth Hudson (Barbara) of Morgantown, KY., James Garrett Hudson (Henrietta) of Bowling Green, KY. and Earl Wayne Hudson of Portland, TN.; 2 sisters; Lovie Poole of Woodburn, KY. and Peggy Sircy of Portland, TN.; 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Mr. Hudson was a heavy equipment operator and former employee of Kentucky Stone.
