Frances Kaye Fink, age 77, entered into rest peacefully with family by her side on Thursday July 9, 2015. The cause was complications of stage IV breast cancer.
Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, July 13, 2015 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
Born May 13, 1938 in Beaver Dam, KY, to Chester and Kathleen Baker, she attended and graduated from Black Star School in 1957. On September 21, 1957, she married Linville O. Fink.
She lived in Dayton, OH, New Lebanon, OH, and finally Franklin, KY and always prided herself on hard work throughout her life. She worked at Dayton Press Inc. and at Fortune Plastics until being separated from the company and entered into retirement. During her free time, she enjoyed gardening, doing word search puzzles, and watching Dancing with the Stars.
Frances was a member of the Providence Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, John O. Fink and wife, Lisa, of Evans, GA; and daughter, Pamela C. Thrash and husband, Torrence, of Dayton, OH; one brother Marshall (Tommy) Baker; four sisters Janice Scalf, Sue Kalnai, Sylvia Burchett, and Betty Ann Jackson; four grandchildren, Amanda Blevins, Nicolette Fink, Shelby Fink, and Nathan Thrash; and three great-grandchildren Mia Thornton, Mari Thornton, and A.J. Thornton.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Linville O. Fink, and brother, Daniel Baker.

Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM Sunday, July 12, 2015 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time on Monday.
