Fannie Marie (Orvis) Cassetty

Mrs. Fannie Marie Cassetty age 84 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Saturday, April 1, 2017 at  3:35 PM at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 4, 2017 with burial to follow in the Woodburn Cemetery in Woodburn, KY.

A native of Simpson Co., KY., she was the daughter of the late Richard Earl Orvis and the late Mary Nell Spears Orvis.  She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Sewell Cassetty, a son Robin Cassetty and grandson Jamie Cassetty.

She is survived by 4 sons Pat Cassetty (Joan) of Franklin, KY., Tony Cassetty (Debbie) of Portland, TN., Roger Cassetty of Franklin, KY.,  and Chris Cassetty (Ann) of  Orlinda, TN.;  2 daughters Candy Austin (Robert) and Connie Smith (Jeff) all of Franklin, KY.;  2 sisters Bessie Summers of Franklin, KY. and Jane Shrum of Scottsville, KY.; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

Mrs. Cassetty was a homemaker and a member of the Bethany Church of Christ.

Visitation will be begin Monday, April 3, 2017 at 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM Tuesday until funeral service time at Gilbert Funeral Home.
