Evelyn Carter Jernigan

Mrs. Evelyn Carter Jernigan, age 93 of Auburn, Ky., entered into rest Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at 7:49 P. M. at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.
A native of Logan Co., KY. she was the daughter of the late William Walter Carter and the Lillie Maude Moore Carter. She was the wife of the late Harry "Bub" Jernigan. She was preceded in death by 6 brothers Harlan, William W. "Billy", Jesse, Herschel, Cecil and Ernest Carter, 2 sisters Gladys Robbins and Guyla Lawrence.
She is survived by a daughter Jackie J. Barnett(Charlie) of Auburn, Ky., 2 Grandchildren Charla B. Arnold (Jarod) and Seth Barnett (Sloane), 2 great grandchildren Rhett Carter Arnold and Fielder Barnett.
Mrs. Jernigan was a member of the New Friendship Baptist Church and the New Friendship Quilters and was a homemaker.
