Evelyn S. Barnes

Mrs. Evelyn S. Barnes, age 90, of Franklin, KY., died Thursday, January 15, 2009 at 5:35 P. M. at the Hospice Center in Bowling Green, KY.
A native of Simpson Co., Ky. she was the daughter of the late Will Payne and Blanche Middleton Spears Payne. She was the wife of the late Henry Samuel Barnes. She was preceded in death by 1 Sister Sue Cline.
She is survived by 1 Son Lynn Barnes and his wife Judy of Franklin, Ky., a Brother Howard Spears and his wife Dorothy of Auburn, KY, 2 Sisters Eva Finn and Bernadine Bush both of Franklin, KY., 3 Grandchildren Mason Barnes, Kelly Barnes, Connie Spears, 7 Great Grandchildren Keith Barnes, Melanie Barnes, Matthew Barnes, Katlyn Barnes, Kimberlyn, Brianna Stephens and Owen Spears.
Mrs. Barnes was the second oldest member at Hillsdale Baptist Church baptized in 1935, and was a retired self employed tax preparer.
