Mrs. Eva Ruth Spears Finn, age 91 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Friday, November 1, 2013 at 12:16 A. M. at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.
A native Simpson Co., Ky. she was born August 22, 1922 to the late Joe Denver Spears and the late Will and Nellie Blanche Middleton Spears Payne. She was the wife of the late J. Spencer "Sol" Finn. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters Evelyn Barnes, Sue Henson Cline and Irene Payne.
She is survived by 5 children Judy Chandler, Julian Spencer Finn(Debra Rigsby), Janine Hicks and Janelle McGee(George) all of Franklin, Ky., Jeff Finn(Kathleen East) of Lewisburg, Ky., a brother Howard Spears of Auburn, Ky. and a sister Bernadine Bush of Franklin, KY., 15 Grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Finn was the oldest member of the Hillsdale Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Potter and Brumfield Manufacturing after 30 and half years and had formerly worked for the Allen Garment Company for 17 years. She was a 1940 graduate of the Barnes High School which was the last graduating class of the school.
