Ellen Ann Caudill Browning

Mrs. Ellen Ann Caudill Browning, age 83 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Friday, July 16, 2010 at 5:30 A.M. at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY.

A native of Simpson Co., KY., she was the daughter of the late Victor “Dick” Caudill and the late Mary Annis Carter Caudill.  She was preceded in death by her husband Conrad Earl Browning; a  granddaughter Allison Lei Starks; 2 sisters:  Louise Turner and Margie Miller and 2 brothers:  Morris Caudill and William “Bill” Caudill.

She is survived by a son Richard Earl Browning and wife Carol of Franklin, KY. and a daughter Connie Faye Beach and husband Bill of Bowling Green, KY.;  2 grandchildren Scott Starks and wife Tiffany of Franklin, KY. and Amy Browning Dobbs and husband Kevin of Owensboro, KY.;  3 great grandchildren: Emma Joli Starks, Jeremy Dobbs and Jordon Dobbs;  a step-grandson Scott King;  2 step-great grandsons Michael King and Johnathan King and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Browning was district manager for Warren Rural Electric Co-operative Corp., a member of the Franklin Church of Christ, lifetime member of the Ruth Electra Chapter #17 of  the Eastern Star and past president of the Franklin Business and Professional Woman’s Club.  She was a member of the Kentucky State Police Auxiliary, a Kentucky Colonel and a former election official.  She loved her God, her family and all of God’s creation.
