Elizabeth Johns Gillespie

Mrs. Elizabeth Johns Gillespie, age 75 of Franklin, Ky., entered into rest Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at the Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, TN.
A native of Simpson Co., KY., she was the daughter of the late Robert Reed Johns and the late Mayme Ruth Wilson Johns. She was preceded in death by a brother Jack Allen Johns and a daughter Julie Reed Belveal.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Gillespie and a son Bill David Belveal (Mary Beth) of Franklin, KY.; 2 step-sons Richard Eric Gillespie (Sherry) and Marshall Troy Gillespie both of Akron, OH. and a step-daughter Stephanie Todd Carr of Round Rock, TX.; 2 cousins Barbara Curry and Judy Stovall both of Franklin, KY. and 2 grandchildren Amanda Perry of Jacksonville, FL. and Chelsea Perry of Bowling Green, KY.
Mrs. Gillespie was a member of the Franklin Presbyterian Church and Franklin Country Club. She received a Masters Degree from Peabody College as a Special Education teacher and enjoyed traveling and playing bridge. She had many dear friends.
