Mrs. Eleanor Gant, age 74 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 1:35 AM at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM. Saturday, October 31, 2015 with burial to follow in the Sharon Cemetery in Portland, TN.
A native of Franklin, KY., she was the daughter of the late Phillip Russell Poole and the late Mary Lou Johnson Poole McGee. She is preceded in death by her husband Loyd Dean Gant, Sr.
She is survived by her daughter Angela Gant Schwab (Ed) of Woodburn, KY., 2 sons Loyd Dean Gant, Jr. (Annetta) and Ricky Dean Gant all of Franklin, KY.; 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; 3 sisters Hassie Crowder and Margie Burton (Don) all of Franklin, KY. and Reba Boyd (Randy) of Bowling Green, KY.; a brother Phillip Poole (Susan) of Franklin, KY. and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Gant was a retired employee of the Kendall Co.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday, October 30, 2015 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time on Saturday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
