Elberta C. Wims

Mrs. Elberta C. Wims, age 89 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Monday, January 3, 2011 at 4:40 P.M. at Hopkins Nursing Facility in Woodburn, KY.
A native of Simpson County, KY. she was the daughter of the late Marion J. Meador and the late Daisy Denning Meador. She was the wife of the late Roy Wims. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers Ernest Keen and Elbert and L.V. Meador, and a sister Gladys Perdue.
She is survived by a son Jerry Wims and his wife Barbara of Franklin, KY. and a daughter Sue Cassetty and her husband Sterling of Franklin, KY., 5 Grandchildren Camille Norwood, Cathy Dillard, Steve Cassetty, Karen Petty and Jennifer Cardwell, 13 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.
Mrs. Wims was a member of the Round Pond Presbyterian Church and a A.A.R.P. and was retired from Potter & Brumfield Manufacturing. She was a 1940 graduate from Barnes High School.
