Mrs. Edna Finn Wingo, age 97 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Sunday, December 15, 2013 at 5:34 P.M. at the NHC Healthcare Facility in Springfield, TN.
Born in the Hillsdale precinct in Simpson Co., KY. on August 9, 1916, she was the daughter of the late C. V. Finn and the late Henrietta Gray Finn. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Wesley Wingo.
She is survived by her 2 sons; Jack Wingo of Summerfield, FL. and David Wingo (Cheryl Ann) of Franklin, KY.; a sister Dorothy Ferguson of Franklin, KY., 2 brothers Peter Finn of Portland, TN., Kenneth Finn of Rockfield, KY. and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Wingo was a farmer in the West Simpson community and joined Sulphur Spring Baptist Church in 1939. She was very active in the Sunday School activities, Vacation Bible Schools and the WMU.
