Eddith Emlene Williams

Mrs. Eddith Emlene Williams, age 100 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 8:11 PM at the Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 30, 2016 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

A native of Whitleyville, TN., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Harrison Ellis and the late Lula Belle Brewington Ellis.  She was preceded in death by her husband Harley Grey Williams, a daughter Jo Rachel Hardy and 2 grandchildren Joseph Byron Ethridge and Mary Hardy Lyons.

She is survived by 2 granddaughters Ricarla Young (Tip) of Russellville, Ky. and Angelia Middlebrooks of Pensacola, FL.; a niece Jo Carolyn Casssity (Bobby) of Franklin, KY.;  11 great grandchildren Joe Sandlin, Joshua Ethridge, Athena Sandlin, Jessica Sandlin, Alicia Stokes, Brandy Westbrook, Daniel Westbrook, Michael Herndon, Sandra Graham, Brian McCrory, Jr. and Derrold Lyons, Jr.

Mrs. Williams was a homemaker.  She worked in a factory making parts for airplanes during World War II and an avid reader.

Visitation will begin Friday, January 29, 2016 at 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Saturday at 6:00 AM until funeral service time at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
