Eddie Carl Barber

Mr. Eddie Carl Barber, age 57, of Portland, TN, formerly of Franklin, KY, passed away on Friday, August 18th, 2023 at 6:47 PM at the Medical Center of Franklin, KY.

There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, August 22nd at 11:00 AM at Jake Link Cemetery, 411 Jake Link Road in Cottontown, TN.

Eddie was born on July 15, 1966 in Franklin, KY to the late James Carl Barber and the late Leatha Louise Blankenship Barber.  He is also preceded in death by a brother, Timmie James Barber and a sister, Kim Renea Hammonds Barber.

He is survived by 2 siblings, Diane Stuart of Portland, TN and Debra Cherry of Franklin, KY; an aunt Shirley Minnis of Portland, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

Eddie attended Halltown General Baptist Church in Sumner County, TN.  He enjoyed fishing, painting pictures and reading the bible.
