Mr. Henry Edmond "Edd" Read, Jr., age 77 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Friday, July 15, 2011 at 6:10 P. M. at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY.
A native of Simpson Co., KY., he was the son the late Henry Edmond Read and the late Anna Belle Russell Read.
He is survived by his wife Charyl "Cheri" Ann Read and 3 daughters: Debbie Read-Fuimaono and husband Sioeli of Cross Plains, TN., Deena Read of White House, TN. and Kim Holt Locke and husband David of Ball Ground, GA.; 3 sisters: Ann Sloan and husband Dean of Orlando, FL., Kathy Kinnaird and husband Jimmie and Sue Pennington all of Franklin, KY.; a brother-in-law Jim Hall of Summerville, S.C.; 2 grandchildren Jake Locke and Jack Locke and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Read was a farmer and a member of the Franklin Church of Christ. He was owner of Edd Read Trucking and a truck driver for Allen Russell Trucking and Hudson Farm Service.
