Earnest Paul Neal

Mr. Earnest Paul Neal, age 87, of Franklin, KY, passed away Sunday, November 15th, 2020 at his residence.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home, Franklin, KY.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 17th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home.  Visitation will continue on Wednesday, November 18th, 2020 from 6:00 AM until funeral service time.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 18th, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home and burial will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens.

Paul was born on February 25th, 1933 in Pickett County, TN to the late William Edgar Neal and the late Mary Etta Polson Neal.  He is also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Pedigo Neal; 2 sons, Ricky Paul Neal and James Edward Neal; siblings, James (Jim) Neal, Earldean Allen, Geneva Loftis, Nannie Mae Bean, Lola Neal Yarin, Perry Neal, Elsie James and Betty Lou McGuire.

He is survived by 3 children, Retha Hinton of Franklin, KY, Joe Lee Neal (Tina) of Franklin, KY and Lois Patterson (Lee) of Westmoreland, TN; 10 grandchildren, Dewayne Edwards, Amy Jo Walton, Jamie Neal, Carissa Marlin, Paul Neal, Missy Neal, Teri Neal, Jessica Carter, Lelyn Neal, James Lee; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mary Cook of Portland, TN, Evelyn Stein of Mt. Juliet, TN and Daisy Neal of FL.

Paul was a farmer.
