Dorthy Boyd Johnson

Mrs. Dorthy Boyd Johnson, age 79 of Bowling Green, KY., entered into rest Monday, October 4, 2010 at 2:05 P.M. at the Medco Center of Franklin, KY.

A native of Franklin, KY., she was one of eleven children of the late Prince Vineyard Ausbrooks and the late Ruth Anglea Ausbrooks.  She was preceded in death by her husband Maurice Johnson and a son Billy R. Boyd.

She is survived by 7 daughters:  Wanda S. Borgs of Texas, Judy C. Brown of Portland, TN., Bonny Carrier of Franklin, KY., Betty Sodagar of Hagerstown, MD., Pam Foriest of Kingston Springs, TN.,Donna McMillin of Evansville, IN. and Dottie Zais of Bowling Green, KY.;  5 sons:  Gilbert Boyd, Jr. of Bowling Green, KY., Mike Boyd of Indianapolis, IN., Robert Dale Boyd, Joey Boyd  and Mark Boyd all of Portland, TN.;  2 sisters:  Martha White of Franklin, KY. and Mary Vanetta of Portland, TN.;  33 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Johnson was a beloved and devoted mother and friend, owner of Boyd Upholstery and a member of the Mitchellville Church of Christ.
