Dorothy A. (Switzer) Tyree

Mrs. Dorothy A. Tyree, age 70 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Alive Hospice in Madison, TN.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 4, 2018 with burial to follow in the Blackjack Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.

Mrs. Tyree was born September 9, 1947 in Bucklin, MO to the late Roy Orville Switzer and the late Beulah Fern Switzer.  She was preceded in death by a sister Thelma Jones.

She is survived by her husband Ron Tyree, 2 children Susan Murray (Bruce) of White House, TN and Jeff Peden (Tara) of Franklin, KY., a step son Steve Tyree (Daltrey) of Phoenix, AZ., a sister Roberta Hagan of Mooresville, NC, 3 brothers Galen Switzer of Bucklin, MO, James Switzer of Clinton, MO. And Richard Switzer of Marceline, MO., 8 grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren.

Mrs. Tyree was a member of the Grace Community Church in Bowling Green, KY, and Friends of the GoodnightLibrary.  She was a retired office manager from P.I.C.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Saturday, March 3, 2018 and from 6:00 AM until service time on Sunday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
