Dorothy Ann Hall Spears

Mrs. Dorothy Ann Hall Spears, age 83 of Auburn, KY., entered into rest Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 9:05 PM at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 14, 2015 with burial to follow in the Hillsdale Cemetery in Simpson County, KY.

A native of Todd Co., KY., she was the daughter of the late Herman Hall and the late Sue Belle Shemwell.  2 sons Randy and Mark Hadder preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband Howard Spears, 4 children Mike Hadden of Auburn, KY., Susan Young of Bowling Green, KY., Kevin Hadden of Alvaton, Ky. and Patrick Hadden of Bowling Green, KY., 4 step children Ronnie and Lanny Spears both of Franklin, KY., and Randy and Rick Spears both of Bowling Green, KY.,  11 grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several step great grandchildren.

Mrs. Spears was a member of the New Cedar Grove Church in Elkton, KY. and was a retired cook at Charlie’s and Felt’s restaurants in Russellville, KY.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00PM Tuesday, October 13, 2015 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time on Wednesday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
