Dorothea Alice Taylor

Mrs. Dorothea Alice Taylor, age 92 of Cape Coral Florida, formally Franklin, KY, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 12:23 PM at the Hope Hospice House in Fort Myers Florida.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, March 18, 2019 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Simpson Co. KY.

Dorothea was born September 7, 1926 in Indianapolis Indiana to the late Louise McClanahan Ashworth and the late Paul Ashworth. She was also preceded in death by her husband, E.R. Taylor.

She worked at National Store, Houchens Market, and retired from Kendall Company.

Dorothea is survived by 2 daughters, Connie Adamson (Chester) of Franklin, KY, and Vicki Hager (Greg) of Franklin, KY, 4 grandchildren, Todd Adamson (Tami), Jason Adamson (Maria), Brennen and Gavin Young, 5 great-grandchildren, Tucker, Tea, Jackson and Justin Adamson, and Micah Young.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM Sunday, March 17, 2019, and from 6:00 AM until time of service Monday, March 18, 2019 at Gilbert Funeral Home.
