Mrs. Donnie Spears Mercer, age 87 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 6:35 P.M. at her residence.
A native of Warren Co., Ky. she was the daughter of the late Roy Spears and the late Nannie Richards Spears. She was the wife of the late Wallace K. Mercer. She was preceded in death by a son Darrell Ray Mercer and step daughter Donna Fields.
She is survived by 2 son Larry Mercer(Inez) of Franklin, Ky., Timothy Allen Mercer of St. Petersburg, FL., 2 step-children Charles Fields of St. Petersburg, Fl., a brother Charles Spears of Bowling Green, Ky., 3 grandchildren, Michael Mercer, Larry Mercer, Jr. and Angela Mercer, 3 great grandchildren Vanessa, Jizelle and Christian Mercer.
Mrs. Mercer was retired from St. Petersburg General Hospital where she worked in house keeping.
