Ms. Denise Lene' Dismuke, age 42, of Franklin, KY passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 in Franklin, KY.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 2:00 PM at New Harmony Missionary Baptist Church, 6023 Cave Springs Rd., Auburn, KY 42206.

Denise was born on August 7, 1981 in Somerset, KY to Donald and Lela Hunton Franklin, KY. She is also survived by 1 son, Asa Dismuke of Franklin, KY; 1 brother, Johnathan Hunton (April) of Las Vegas, NV; and many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, 1 great-nephew, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dovie and Brad Ballou; her paternal grandparents, John and Mable Hunton; and 1 sister, Susan Leann Hunton.

Denise was a member of New Harmony Missionary Baptist Church in Auburn, KY.  She was a 1999 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School and attended Western Kentucky University where she earned an Associate's Degree.  Denise loved to sing, read, play board and card games.
