David Allen Caudill

Mr. David Allen Caudill, age 61 of Franklin, KY, entered into rest Friday, April 27, 2018 at 12:00 PM at his residence.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 29, 2018.  Military honors will be conducted by the Simpson County Honor Guard.  Cremation was chosen following the service.

Mr. Caudill was born July 23, 1956 in Chicago, IL to the late Richmond Joseph Caudill and the late Dorothy Pendley Caudill.  He was preceded in death by a brother Richard O. Caudill.

He is survived by 2 sons Jeremy Caudill and Westley Caudill (Niki) all of Franklin, KY; 2 sisters Janiece Fields (Michael) of Morningview, KY and Darkmoon House (Hershel) of Morgantown, KY;  3 brothers Rodger Caudill (Martha), Robert Caudill (Darlene) all of Ashland City, TN,  Darrell Caudill (Chris) of Knoxville, TN and 12 grandchildren.  He is also survived by a special friend and companion Sandra Kaye Brown of Franklin, KY.

Mr. Caudill was a welder and former employee of Rogers Manufacturing and an Army veteran.  He loved the outdoors, fishing, camping and watching movies.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM until funeral service time Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Gilbert Funeral Home.
