Darwayne Bailey Ramsey

Mr. Darwayne Ramsey, age 83, of Adairville, KY, passed away Friday, June 5th, 2020, at 8:13 PM at the Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville, KY.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 8th, 2020 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  Visitation will continue on Tuesday, June 9th, 2020 from 6:00 AM until 12:30 PM.  A graveside service will be on Tuesday, June 9th, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

Darwayne was born on June 21st, 1936 in Logan County to his late father, Oscar Ramsey, Jr. and to his late mother, Viola Betty Cassetty Gregory.  He is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Elizabeth Allen Ramsey and later married, Mary Jean Fuqua Ramsey, whom also preceded him in death.  He is also preceded in death by a son, Randall Wayne Ramsey.

He is survived by his 4 children, Kathy Gregory (Pee Wee) of Franklin, KY, Charlotte Sue Ramsey of Franklin, KY, Ed Ramsey of Adairville, KY and Rita Faye Ramsey (Pee Wee Frazier) of Allensville, KY; 3 grandchildren, Douglas Gass, Christopher Ramsey, Chasity Ramsey; 4 great grandchildren, Bobby Amarion Jennings, Christopher Antores Jennings, Dakota Ashton Jennings, Alexander Clint Ramsey; a sister, Sammie Fairchild.

Darwayne was a member of Lighthouse of Truth Church in Franklin, KY.  He was a farmer for the majority of his life.
