Mrs. Darien Kirby, age 78 of Bowling Green, Ky., formerly Franklin, Ky., entered into rest Sunday, November 27, 2011 at 6:47 P.M. at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.
A native of Simpson Co., Ky. she was the daughter of the late Leslie O. Pennington and the late Pauline Hodges Pennington. She was preceded in death by a daughter Sherry Lynn Kirby and a brother Stacey Pennington.
She is survived by her husband Lewis Jay Kirby, a daughter Joanne Byrnes of Bowling Green, Ky., a granddaughter Fallon Byrnes, a sister Mary Lynn Pennington Jones(Jimmy) of Louisville, Ky., a nephew Rob Jones(Lisa) of Louisville, Ky., Sister-In-Law Sylvia Ramsey of Bowling Green, KY.
Mrs. Kirby was a member of Lake Springs Baptist Church and attended Southside Baptist Church in Bowling Green, Ky., a member of the Rose Society in Bowling Green and retired from Sealed Power Manufacturing.
