Mr. Daniel Lee Cassetty, age 70 of Franklin, KY. entered into rest Friday, June 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Franklin - Simpson Nursing and Rehab Center in Franklin, Ky.
Funeral services are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 15, 2015. Masonic services will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday. Mr. Cassetty’s wishes were to be cremated and his cremains will be buried in Stevenson’s Church Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.
A native of Simpson Co., Ky. he was the son of the late Ernest Cassetty and the late Dorothy Edwards Cassetty. He was preceded in death by a brother David Cassetty and a sister Velma Cassetty.
He is survived by his wife Libby Temple Cassetty, 4 children Steven Cassetty of Russellville, KY., Ricky Byrum of South Carolina, Robbie Chambers of Franklin, KY. and Ginger Gilmore of Chicago, IL., a brother Jim Cassetty of Franklin, KY., 8 grandchildren.
Mr. Cassetty was a member of Stevenson Methodist Church, 50 year Simpson Benevolent Lodge #177, Sportsman Lake Club and Kentucky Corps of Long Rifleman. He worked in maintenance at PIC.
Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Sunday, June 14, 2015 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time on Monday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
