Cora Wilma Boren

Mrs. Cora Wilma Boren, age 95 of Franklin, KY passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at the Colonial Manor Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 18, 2024 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow visitation at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY. There will be no funeral service. 

 Mrs. Boren was born December 16, 1928, in Warren County, OK to the late James Herchel Hammond and the late Alma Frances Gettings Hammond. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Boren, three brothers, Willie Carl Hammond, James Homer Hammond, Charles Leonard Hammond and three sisters, Vergie Brooks Carter, Jewel Dewberry Pickard and Norma June Logan.

She is survived by a nephew, Mike Logan (Lisa), two nieces, Jeanatta Smith and Bonnie King..

She was a former employee of the Kendall Company and Lewis Memorial. She is of the Baptist faith and loved her dogs.
