Connie Marie (Suiter) Armstrong

Ms. Connie Armstrong, age 64, of Franklin, KY passed away on Wednesday, December 22nd, 2021 at her residence.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 26th, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM here at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory.  Visitation will continue on Monday, December 27th from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 27th at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in Blackjack Cemetery in Simpson County, KY.

Connie was born on December 21, 1957 in Clarksville, TN to the late James “J.D.” Douglas Suiter and Mary Lee (Jackson) Suiter Orvis.  She is also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Victoria Michelle Ingram and 2 brothers, Paul Suiter and David Suiter.

She is survived by 2 children; Gary Scott Goostree of Franklin, KY and Kayla Michelle Ingram of Woodburn, KY; 7 grandchildren, Dawson Goostree, Alex Embry, Erik Goostree, Jayde Ingram, Zaine Ingram and Brody Goostree; siblings, Carolyn Hunton of Franklin, KY, Phillip Suiter of Franklin, KY, Joyce Pinson of Franklin, KY, Brenda Davis of Franklin, KY, Debbie Bogle of Franklin, KY, Jeff Suiter of Franklin, KY and Donnie Suiter of Franklin, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

Connie was a member of Blackjack Baptist Church.  She was a 1976 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School.  Connie retired from Wal-Mart as a Customer Service Manager after 15+ years. She enjoyed to paint, sew, craft and cook.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory for Ms. Armstrong’s final expenses.  Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
