Claude Douglas "Doug" Brazzell

Mr. Claude Douglas “Doug” Brazzell, age 95 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Sunday, August 13, 2017 at 4:15 AM at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 10:00 AM with burial to follow in the Bushes Chapel Cemetery in Sumner Co., TN.
A native of Simpson Co., KY., he was the son of the late Claude M. Brazzell and the late Sarah Elizabeth Caudill Brazzell. He was preceded in death by his wife Wilma Simpson Brazzell, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
He is survived by a sister Sarah Margaret Brazzell Taylor of Franklin, KY and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Brazzell was a farmer, a WWII US Army Air Corps veteran and a member of the Bethel Church of Christ.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM Wednesday until funeral service time at Gilbert Funeral Home.
