Christopher Ernest "SPOOK" Bailey

Mr. Christopher Ernest “Spook” Bailey, age 61 of Franklin, KY, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 7:55 PM at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where memorial services will be held Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 3:00 PM

Ernest “Spook” was born March 19, 1958 in Franklin KY, to the late Thomas Martin Bailey and the late Hattie Daisy Hogan Bailey Hall. He was also preceded in death by his special companion, Mary Helen Robey, and a brother, James Thomas Bailey and an uncle Harry Hogan.

Ernest “Spook” is survived by 2 brothers, David Wayne Bailey (Walisha Bailey) of Franklin, KY, and Raymond Douglas Bailey of Franklin, KY and a sister, Rita Ann Bailey of Lexington, KY, Aunt and Uncles: Barbara”Aunt Doo”Anderson, Dorothy Williams, Lucille Hogan, Mary “Aunt Seed” Hogan, Nieces and nephews, Tonya Bailey – Long (Toliver Long), Derek Moore (Tennae), Jalen Bailey, Ja‘era Bailey, Amiel Bailey (Victoria), Carmilla Nunley, Shane` Bailey, Trevor Barnett.  With a special thanks to the Rylans Restaurant from The Bailey Family.

Ernest “Spook” was a member at Harris Town Church of Christ and worked at Rylan’s Restaurant. “Spook” was an avid UK fan, loved his music, was a DJ and DJ’d with Sweet Tea.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday August 17, 2019 at Gilbert Funeral Home.
