Christine (Stewart) Williams

Mrs. Christine Williams of Franklin, KY, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 7:00 AM at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 21, 2019 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY

Christine was born in Indianapolis, IN. to the late William D. Stewart and the late Molly Farmer Stewart.  She was the wife of the late Fred Williams.  She was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children Gail Strain (Larry) of Orlinda, TN and Charles W. Gregory (Brenda) of Mesa, AZ, 5 grandchildren Katie Dedio, Kyle and Chad Gregory, Pete and Josh Strain, 5 step children Barbara Rhea, Freddie Williams (Barbara), Jo Betty Gillespie (Bobby), Brenda West (Louie) and Susan Williams all of Franklin, KY and 10 step-grandchildren.

Christine was a member of the Liberty General Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, June 20, 2019 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time on Friday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
