Mr. Charles W. Long, age 69 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 11:50 A. M. at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY..
A native of Simpson Co., KY. he was the son of the late Wallace Frankfurt Long and Mayzelle Bryum who survives of Franklin, Ky.
He is survived by his wife Jo Anna Long, Step-Father Robert Byrum of Franklin, KY., 2 children Debbie Gooch of Franklin, Ky., Tony Long (Vicky) of Glasgow, Ky., 3 Step-Children Michael Witt, Joey Witt (Christy Leemon) and Neinda Witt (James Kindred) all of Franklin, KY., a sister Rita Brown (Cherie Taylor) of Bowling Green, Ky., 3 grandchildren Andrew Long, Cameron Gooch and Phoenix Long, 7 Great Grandchildren, Cheyenne Rossella-Bodkin, Dylan Adams, Kayla Adams, Christian Witt, Taylor Witt, Brea Witt and Trevor Kindred.
Mr. Long was a member of the Church of Christ, and a Marine Corps Veteran.
