Carol Ann (Owens) Montgomery

Mrs. Carol Ann Montgomery, age 70, of Woodburn, KY, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022 at the Commonwealth Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green, KY.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 9th, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory.  There will be no service.   After visitation, Mrs. Montgomery’s wishes are to be cremated.

Carol was born on December 6, 1951 in Bowling Green, KY to the late, Bryce C. Owens and the late, Lucy Ann “Peggy” (Lambert) Owens.  She is also preceded in death by a brother, Donald C. Owens.

She is also survived by her husband of 42 years, Ottie Joe Montgomery; 3 sisters, Glenda Miller (Ricky) of Franklin, KY, Elaine Owens Smith (Doug) of Bowling Green, KY and Marie Owens of Bowling Green, KY; 1 niece, Megan Owens; and 4 nephews, Paul Owens, Tim Owens, Nicholas Thornton and Cody Miller.

Carol was a cashier for Pilot Travel Centers.  She loved hunting, fishing, knitting, crocheting, reading, collecting dolls and clowns.
