Carl Wesley Hendricks

Mr. Carl Wesley Hendricks, age 98 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 5:32 PM at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, September 18, 2017 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.  Military honors will be conducted by the Simpson County Honor Guard.

A native of Simpson Co., KY., he was the son of the late Elwood Hendricks and the late America Anderson Hendricks.  He was preceded in death by his wife Georgia Harris Hendricks.

He is survived by his son Ronny Hendricks of Franklin, KY.;  2 granddaughters Rachel Fairman of Franklin, KY., Nicole Holtkamp (Andy) of West Chester, OH.; 2 great grandchildren Jack and Grace Fairman and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hendricks was a self-employed bricklayer and a farmer. He was a member of the Stevenson United Methodist Church, Woodmen of the World and a WWII Army veteran.

Visitation will begin Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Monday at 6:00 AM until funeral service time at Gilbert Funeral Home.
