Candace Ashley Smith

Ms. Candace Ashley Smith, age 46, of Adolphus, KY, passed away on Monday, November 1st, 2021 at 3:30 AM at The Hospice House of Southern KY, in Bowling Green, KY.

Ms. Smith’s wishes were to be cremated. No services are scheduled at this time.

Candace was born on June 19th, 1975 in Baton Rouge, LA to Charlotte (Barham) Lea and Rodney Craig Smith, whom survives.  She is also survived by her 3 children; Michael Kane Mullins of Gallatin, TN, Rodney Kyle Mullins of Gallatin TN and Leslie Ann Mullins of Adolphus, KY; 6 grandchildren; Avea Neisz of Adolphus, KY, Lilyella Mullins of Gallatin, TN, Abel Neissz of Adolphus, KY, Daisy Mae Mullins of Gallatin, TN, Axel Neisz of Adolphus KY, and Jasper Mullins of MS; husband, Bobby Phillips of Lafayette, TN; 1 brother, Donovan Lea of Elizabethtown, KY; step-father Darrel Lea of Franklin, KY; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Betty and Howard Barham as well as her paternal grandparents, Percy and Ruby Smith.

Candace enjoyed playing with her grandchildren as well as cheering on the LSU Tigers and the Tennessee Titans.
