Camilla Bivens Meador

Mrs. Camilla Bivens Meador age 86, of Franklin, KY. entered into rest Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 12:00 PM at her residence.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 2, 2017 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
A native of Camden, TN. she was the daughter of the late Sanford Lee Bivens and Iola Mae Kennon Bivens. She was the wife of the late John Chlores Meador.
She is survived by 3 sons Mark Stephen Meador, John Brent Meador (Pam) and James “Jimmy” Chlores Meador (Marcia) all of Franklin, KY., 2 sisters Jean Eppler of Howell, TX. and Jane Mayo (David) of College Station, TX. and a brother Johnny Harlan Bivens (Beverley) of Germantown TN., 5 grandchildren Daniel Meador (Courtney), Perry Meador (Heather), Andrew Meador (Jordan), Meghan Meador Oldham (Alex) and Anna Meador, 3 great grandchildren Landon, Mason and Lucy Meador.
Mrs. Meador was a member of the Round Pond Church and Simpson County Homemakers. She received her bachelor’s degree from UT in 1955. She was former substitute teacher, extension agent and a homemaker.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM Saturday, April 1, 2017 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time on Sunday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
