Boyd Leo Johnson

Mr. Boyd Leo Johnson, age 66, of Franklin, KY, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held on Thursday, January 2nd, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 1st, 2020 from 12:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Thursday, January 2nd, 2020, from 6:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM.

Boyd was born June 8th, 1953 in Russellville, KY. to the late Robert A. Johnson and the late Effie Lou Gregory Johnson.

He is survived by his wife Rita Finn Johnson of 44 years; a daughter, Jada Johnson of Franklin, KY.; 4 brothers, Robert M. Johnson (Vonda), Kenneth Johnson (Dana), Mark Johnson (Beverly), Mike Johnson (Tammy) all of Franklin, KY.; 2 sisters, Linda Brooks (Larry) of Franklin, KY and Juanita Medley (Ford) of Woodburn, KY.; 2 grandchildren, Tristan and Destiny May; 2 aunts, Sarah Lee Parker of Russellville, KY. and Thelma Wells Johnson of Hopkinsville, KY.

Boyd enjoyed riding his motorcycle.  He painted cars and motorcycles.  Boyd was retired from Luvata, where he was a scheduler.  He attended Franklin Community Church.
