Mrs. Bonnie Lou Gore, age 82 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 11:32 A. M. at the Franklin-Simpson Nursing and Rehab Center in Franklin, KY.
She was born in Big Rock, TN. (Stewart Co.), on April 30, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Thomas William Frazier and the late Anna Viola Hester Frazier. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Gore and young son, Ronald (Ronnie) Gore; sisters Lois Cato, Earlene Heflin, Lucille Crockarell, Freida Jackson, and brothers Baxter Frazier and Tom Frazier.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Gore attended Nashville Business College and played basketball for her school team. She and her husband traveled and lived in many states while he worked as an engineer for laying pipeline. They settled on a farm in Franklin when he retired. She was a homemaker and a member of the Franklin Church of Christ.
Linda Allison, Nellie DuBois, nieces and caregivers would like to thank Aunt Bonnie's special friends Pat Metcalf and Addie Gillespie, and other friends and fellow church members of Franklin Church of Christ for their love, care and prayers; and also a thank you to the staff at (Medco) Franklin-Simpson Nursing and Rehab for their care in the last few months, Franklin Medical Center and her neighbors. She will be missed.
