Bobby Wilson Lowhorn

Mr. Bobby W. Lowhorn, age 82, of Woodburn, KY, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 2:30 AM at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held Saturday, March 21st, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 21st, 2020, from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home.

Bobby was born June 20, 1937 in Orlinda TN, to the late Cyrus Henry Lowhorn and the late Winnie Carolyn Melton Lowhorn. He is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Delsie Dean Lowhorn and Norma Jean Lowhorn, 10 brothers, Cecil, John, Findley, Bennett, Joe, Frank, James, Julian, Floyd and Lloyd Lowhorn

Bobby is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carolyn Lowhorn, 2 children, David Lowhorn (Yvonne) of Portland, TN, and Laura Chapman (Jesse) of Woodburn, KY, Grandchildren, Ashley Lowhorn, Jordan and Jonathan Lowhorn, Kayla Stanley, 5 great grandchildren, Aubree Janes, Andrew Janes, Emma Breakfield, Olivia Walker, Bentley Walker, Several nieces and nephews.

Bobby was a retired minister for 52 years and was a member of Bethel Church of Christ where he ministered for 25 plus years.  He enjoyed golfing, watching football, baseball and basketball, and he was a Cleveland Browns Fan.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Foundation Christian Academy or to the Dementia Research, which will be accepted at Gilbert Funeral Home.
