Bobby Lee James

Mr. Bobby Lee James, age 75 of Bowling Green, KY. entered into rest Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 11:02 P.M. at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where a memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, April 2, 2015 with burial to follow in the Sulphur Spring Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.  The Simpson County Honor Guard will give military Honors

A native of Franklin., KY., he was the son of the late Denver Lee James and the late Lottie May Hughes James. 3 brothers Jesse Wayne Ferhle, Ed “Weinie” James and Joe Pat James, a sister Margaret Ann Matthews and his grandmother Ada Belle James, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife Mary Lynne Mock James, 3 children Carole James of Olmstead, Ky., David Lee James of San Jose, CA and Jonathan James of Pine Grove, CA., 2 brothers Howard James Redman and Jody James both of Franklin, Ky., a sister Doris Gibbs of Scottsville, Ky., 6 grandchildren Derek Dillihay, Lisa Dillihay Graves, Michael James, Kevin James, Alyona James and Alex James, 3 great grandchildren Preston Cole Graves, Mia Layla Graves and John Luke Dillihay and special cousins he was raise with Nicky and Danny James and Wanda Barrett and several other cousins.

Mr. James was retired Air Force Veteran serving 1 tour in Vietnam, and formerly worked at Lockheed Martin and was a CPA for the CA. Forestry Division.  He enjoyed playing golf and shooting pool.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M until service time on Thursday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
