Mr. Bobby Gene Cassity, age 77 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 3:50 PM at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, May, 2016 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
He was born September 1, 1938 in Lafayette, TN. to the late Oakley Lovell Cassity and the late Edith Mae King Cassity. He was preceded by a brother Paul Cassity.
He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Jo Carolyn Cassity, 2 sons Robb Cassity and Todd Cassity (Julie) all of Franklin, KY., 2 sisters Faye Forshee of Franklin, KY. and Linda Sparrow of Danville, Ky., 2 brothers Donnie Cassity (Linda) and Harold Cassity both of Franklin, KY. and a granddaughter Alexis Quin Cassity.
Mr. Cassity was a member and deacon at the House of Prayer Church, and had worked in maintenance at Brown Printing/Quad Graphics and was an Army Veteran.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM Thursday and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time Friday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
