Bobbie Jean Kepley Raby

Bobbie Jean Kepley Raby, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 in Murray KY.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, George Kepley; son, Douglas Kepley; grandson, Benjamin Raby; and second husband, Ronald Raby. She is survived by her three daughters, Teresa Nixon of Murray KY; Sandra Lay of Gallatin TN; and Pamela Raby of Lawrenceville GA; 6 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Bobbie was a homemaker for many years. She later worked at the Simpson County Board of Education, retiring in 2002. She was a long-time member of Round Pond Church, raised her family and lived in the Rapids community until she moved in 2014 to Murray to live near her daughter, Teresa. Bobbie attended First Christian Church. She enjoyed living life with her 15-year-old dog Chloe, and was loved by many friends and family.

All are invited to attend a visitation at 11:00 am followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 6th at Gilbert Funeral Home, 325 W Cedar Street, Franklin KY 42134. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.

In remembrance of Bobbie’s life and love, the family has requested memorial gifts be made to Round Pond Church, attn: Lydia Latham, 201 Stephens Hill Road, Franklin KY 42134.
